its been a while!
Its been sevral months since i got on here. time has just been flying by. i feel so busy some days! so for a few updates! We found out my EDD is going to be July 3rd. And im currently seeing the midwifes (and sometimes OBGYN's) at AOG. So far i REALLY love Rita Marie and Michelle. Im really hoping I get one of them for my labor! I really did want to do a homebirth but with B not working and things not going so well at my current job, i dont think im going to be able to set the extra money back to do a homebirth :[ maybe next time (if there is one lol) BUT i know I am definatly going to get a doula, they are not really pricy and i think i will really need the support in labor! Im still very nervous somedays about having an all natural of a labor as possible but im so excited about it as well! I really feel great bc i want to take back my birth! Thats really about it for now. I will try more to keep up in here!

I'm pretty sure if anybody can do it it's you!! You're so devoted to doing things the natural and healthy way, and your kids are extremely blessed for it. Just want you to know I learned a lot from you today about circumcision! I was HORRIFIED. They surely don't tell you those things in school. I start my L&D/Nursery/Postpartum clinicals this semester and I thank you for the heads up. Pretty sure my future son (assuming I have one) will thank you too. Keep doing what you're doing girl!:) Much love!
ReplyDeleteHannah, thank you so much! And it makes me really happy to hear that! Ive learned alot about stuff and i really try. Even before my son i tried to learn what i could and when i was prego with my daughter it did occur to me if i had a boy i wanted to keep him intact. One of my fave places for info is www.drmomma.org or you can find it under peaceful parenting on facebook. i love her site. I chose to keep him whole because i beleive my baby was born perfect. I didnt see any reason to perform an unnessicary surgery where he would feel the entire thing just for cosmedic reasons. And knowing your baby can die from its even scarier! the worst part is so many parents dont even bother to inform themselfs on the situation at hand. If you ever want to know more let me know. I love letting others know what i either wish i knew before i had a baby or am so thankful that i do know! but i wish you luck in ur cliniclas!
